Experience from Operator, Contractor and Engineering Organisations

Seasoned Chief Engineer with four and a half decades of experience in the engineering and management of Oil and Gas projects, predominantly related to Pipelines, Risers and Subsea, gained from working for all parts of the industry and from conceptual engineering to offshore installation and commissioning.

Recognized for technical expertise and strategic vision in subsea architecture and project execution. Experience with several finite element analysis packages, includiong MARC for the analysis of buckling of pipelines during reeling (Ref. OTC Paper 10715 from 1999).

Extensive experience with conference papers, presentations and participation in program and advisory committees.

Keen interest in European and British climate and energy strategy.

Graduated from Imperial Collage, London in 1980, resident in Norway since 1984, keen skiier and photographer.
