Conference, and Committee Experience

Tim Crome has been an active contributer to Norwegian industry organisations and to Norwegian and international conferences, both as a speaker, panel member and committee / board member.

Program Committees

Subsea Pipeline Technology Forum (SPT) in London, Underwater Technology Conference (UTC) in Bergen and the Offshore Pipeline Technology (OPT) Conference in Amsterdam, and the bi-annual Norwegian Petroleum Societies’ Pipeline and Riser Conference.
Previously member of the DNV Pipeline Committee, following up the development of the internationally recognised DNV Rules for Offshore Pipelines.

Industry Organisations

Experience as company representative on various industry organisations and boards, including the British Norwegian Chamber of
Commerce (BNCC), Subsea Valley, the Norwegian Society for Marine Minerals. Member of the Norwegian Federation of Industry (NHO) working group on Energy Strategy.

Conference & Training

Extensive experience as conference speaker and panel discussion participant in Norway, Europe / UK and at OTC, Houston.

Initiated and ran the internal Technip Norway Engineering Seminars from 2002 to 2007. Planned and executed global training programs for TechnipFMC in 2018/19 following the merger between Technip and FMC Technologies.
